Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms:

John's Classifieds supports and provides a number of online services and resources, which include (but are not limited to) free and paid ads, forums, and banner rotation services that shall be referred to from here on in as "the service" and are subject to the following "Terms of Service" that shall be referred to as "TOS".

By using the Service in any way you are agreeing to comply with and follow the TOS. In addition to these TOS you will adhere to any additional posted guidelines within the John's Classifieds site and/or while using the Service provided by John's Classifieds. These guidelines are subject to change at any time without notice.

Should you object to any of the terms or conditions outlined in the TOS, or within any additional guidelines and/or subsequent modifications, or find you are dissatisfied with the Service provided by John's Classifieds in any way then your only legal recourse is to discontinue use of John's Classifieds immediately.

2.Listings are to be posted in the appropriate category or area and will not contain or facilitate any of the following:

• violate any laws or our Posting Policies.
• be false or misleading
• infringe any third-party right
• distribute or contain spam, chain letters, or pyramid schemes
• distribute viruses or any other technologies that may harm John's Classifieds or the interests or property of John's Classifieds users
• impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure or interfere with the proper working of the John's Classifieds
• copy, modify, or distribute any other person's content
• harvest or otherwise collect information about others, including email addresses, without their consent
• bypass measures used to prevent or restrict access to content.

John's Classifieds contains material from a variety of users including our staff, and yourself. You agree not to copy, modify, or distribute John's Classifieds content, our copyrights or trademarks. When you give us content, you are granting us a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sub-licensable right to exercise the copyright, publicity, and database rights to that content. (We need these rights to host and display your content.) If you believe that your rights have been violated, please notify our designated copyright agent at John's Classifieds and we will investigate the matter. We reserve the right to remove content where we have grounds for suspecting the violation of these terms or of any party's rights.

3.Notification of claims of copyright infringement and plagiarism:

If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, or your intellectual property rights have been otherwise violated, please notify John's Classifieds agent for notice of claims of copyright or other intellectual property infringement at support@johnsclassifieds.com

4.Personal Information:

By using John's Classifieds, you agree to the collection, transfer, storage and use of your personal information by John's Classifieds. You also agree to receive marketing communications from us unless you tell us that you prefer not receive such communications.

5.General:

These terms and the other policies posted on John's Classifieds constitute the entire agreement between John's Classifieds and you, superseding any prior agreements. If we don't enforce any particular provision, we are not waiving our right to do so later. If a court strikes down any of these terms, the remaining terms will survive. We may automatically assign this agreement in our sole discretion in accordance with the notice provision below. Except for notices relating to illegal or infringing content, your notices to us must be sent by registered mail to John's Classifieds. Contact us for our mailing address. We will send notices to you via the email address you provide, or by registered mail. Notices sent by registered mail will be deemed received five days following the date of mailing. We may update this agreement at any time, with updates taking effect when you next post or after 30 days, whichever is sooner.
